Hybrid
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005435
An offspring resulting from the interbreeding of two genetically distinct individuals, often from different species, varieties, or populations. This genetic cross combines traits from both parents, leading to a new organism with a mixed genetic makeup. Hybrids can exhibit characteristics such as increased vigor or sterility, depending on the genetic compatibility of the parents.
