Hypogonadism

A condition in which the gonads (testes in males, ovaries in females) produce insufficient amounts of sex hormones or germ cells. This endocrine disorder can result from problems in the gonads themselves or in the pituitary gland or hypothalamus. It can affect sexual development, fertility, and overall health.
