Killer lectin-like receptor
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006336
A type of cell surface receptor expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and other immune cells, characterized by an extracellular C-type lectin-like domain. These receptors recognize specific ligands, often major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, on target cells. Their binding can either inhibit or activate the immune cell's cytotoxic function, regulating immune responses.
