Limbic system
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006590
A collection of interconnected brain structures situated deep within the temporal lobes, forming a border around the brainstem. This system is primarily associated with emotion, memory formation, and motivation, integrating emotional responses with stored memories.
