Minimum-energy reaction path
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007403
The trajectory on a potential energy surface that connects reactants to products through the lowest energy transition state. This path represents the most probable route for a chemical reaction to occur. It is often calculated using computational chemistry methods to understand reaction mechanisms and kinetics.
