Multilayer aggregate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007643
An aggregate of polymer molecules, such as a lamellar crystal, that consists of several stacked layers. Each layer is composed of chain-folded macromolecules arranged in a regular, two-dimensional lattice. The thickness of each layer is determined by the fold length of the polymer chains, a value that is dependent on the crystallization temperature.
