Pake doublet
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008423
A characteristic two-line splitting pattern observed in solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra, arising from the dipolar coupling between two spin-1/2 nuclei. This doublet provides information about the internuclear distance and orientation of the coupled spins within a rigid lattice. It is often seen in systems with isolated pairs of protons.
