Proteolytic peptide
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009601
A short peptide fragment generated from a larger protein through the action of a proteolytic enzyme. These peptides are typically produced in a controlled manner for subsequent analysis, such as mass spectrometry-based protein identification. The specific cleavage sites of the protease determine the sequence and length of the resulting peptides.
