Radiation filter
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009825
A material or device that selectively transmits or attenuates certain wavelengths or energies of radiation while allowing others to pass through. Filters are used to modify the spectral distribution of a radiation source or to isolate specific regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. They are characterized by their transmission or absorption spectra.
