Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009985
A theoretical parameter derived from quantum chemical calculations that quantifies the susceptibility of a specific atom or bond within a molecule to undergo a particular type of chemical reaction. These indices are used to predict the most probable sites for electrophilic, nucleophilic, or radical attack. Examples include frontier electron densities or superdelocalizability values.
