Regeneration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010101
The process of restoring a spent catalyst or adsorbent to its active state, allowing it to be reused in a chemical process. This typically involves removing accumulated impurities or reaction byproducts from the catalyst surface. Common regeneration methods include thermal treatment, washing, or chemical treatment.
