Reprecipitation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010201
A purification technique involving the dissolution of a previously formed precipitate, followed by its reformation under controlled conditions. This process is used to improve the purity of a solid by removing occluded or adsorbed impurities that were incorporated during the initial precipitation. It is often performed by adjusting pH, temperature, or solvent composition.
