Reticulate doped polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010296
A composite in which a small-molecule organic conductor is crystallized as a fine network on the surface of a polymer substrate that is itself insulating or semiconducting, so that electrical conduction is confined to the surface layer. The polymer remains the mechanical carrier of the material. Unlike a redox-doped conjugated polymer, the polymer itself is not made conductive, and the conducting phase is a separate crystalline network.
