Sedimentation volume
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010656
The final volume occupied by a sedimented solid phase after a suspension has settled under gravity or centrifugation. It indicates the extent of particle aggregation and the packing efficiency of the settled material. This volume is often used to assess the stability and dispersibility of suspensions.
