Shots per pixel
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010833
The count of primary ion pulses landing on each image pixel during a single scan of the raster in SIMS imaging. A larger count gives more secondary ions per pixel and therefore better counting statistics, at the cost of a bigger primary ion dose delivered to the surface.
