Solid phase antibody radioimmunoassay

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010991

A type of radioimmunoassay where antibodies are immobilized onto a solid support, such as the inner surface of a test tube or microtiter plate. This immobilization simplifies the separation of antibody-bound antigen from free antigen, as the solid phase can be easily washed. The technique is widely used for quantifying hormones, drugs, and other biological molecules in complex samples.
