Sorptive-tape extraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013574
A microextraction technique where a flexible, sorbent-coated tape is exposed to a sample, allowing analytes to partition from the sample matrix onto the sorbent. After extraction, the tape is removed and the analytes are desorbed for analysis, often by thermal desorption or solvent elution. This method is particularly suited for sampling from surfaces or headspace.
