Spatially resolving detector
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011082
A type of detector capable of determining the position of incident radiation or particles across a two-dimensional area. These detectors provide spatial information in addition to intensity, allowing for imaging or mapping applications. Examples include charge-coupled devices (CCDs) and position-sensitive detectors used in spectroscopy and microscopy.
