Spermatid

A haploid male germ cell that results from the meiotic division of a secondary spermatocyte. These cells undergo a process called spermiogenesis, transforming into mature spermatozoa without further cell division. Spermatids are characterized by their round shape and are found in the seminiferous tubules of the testes.
