Stefan-Boltzmann constant

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011353

A fundamental physical constant that relates the total energy radiated per unit surface area of a black body across all wavelengths per unit time to the fourth power of its absolute temperature. This constant is denoted by the Greek letter sigma (σ). Its value is approximately 5.67 x 10^-8 W m^-2 K^-4.
