Stereohomosequence
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013593
A sequence of monomeric units within a polymer chain that all possess the same stereochemical configuration. For example, in a vinyl polymer, a stereohomosequence would consist entirely of isotactic or syndiotactic placements. The length and presence of such sequences influence the polymer's crystallinity and physical properties.
