Total terminal residue

The sum of all residues of a pesticide and its metabolites that remain in or on a commodity at the time of harvest or slaughter. This value is used to determine compliance with maximum residue limits (MRLs) set by regulatory bodies. It reflects the cumulative exposure to the pesticide and its breakdown products.
