UV photochemical digestion
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012480
A sample preparation technique that uses ultraviolet radiation to break down organic matrices into simpler, more volatile compounds or inorganic species. This process facilitates the subsequent analysis of trace elements by eliminating interferences from complex organic components. It is often employed for environmental and biological samples prior to elemental analysis.
