Vesicle polymerisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012558
A polymerization process that occurs within the confined environment of vesicles, which are self-assembled spherical structures formed by amphiphilic molecules in an aqueous medium. Monomers are encapsulated within or associated with the vesicle membrane, leading to the formation of polymers with controlled size and morphology. This method is used to create polymer nanoparticles and capsules.
