Micro-emulsion polymerisation
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007321
A polymerization process conducted within the nanometer-sized droplets of a micro-emulsion system. The small droplet size and large interfacial area in micro-emulsions lead to high reaction rates and the formation of very small polymer particles. This technique is used to produce polymer nanoparticles with narrow size distributions.
