Enthalpy
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-005388
A thermodynamic property representing the total heat content of a system at constant pressure. In atmospheric science, it accounts for the internal energy of a parcel of air plus the product of its pressure and volume. This property is conserved during adiabatic processes and is expressed in joules per kilogram (J/kg) for a unit mass of air.
