Phase spectrum
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-007896
A representation of the phase angles of the different frequency components of a signal, typically obtained through a Fourier transform. It complements the amplitude spectrum by providing information about the relative timing of these components. Analyzing the phase spectrum can reveal details about the structure and propagation of atmospheric waves.
