Sweep pill

A viscous fluid slug pumped into the wellbore to clean out debris, cuttings, or other solids that have accumulated. This pill has a high carrying capacity to lift and transport the unwanted material out of the well. It is often used during drilling, completion, or workover operations to maintain a clean wellbore.
