Acyl species
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000217
Chemical entities containing an acyl group, R-C(=O)-, which can be a radical, an ion, or a neutral molecule. These species are characterized by the presence of a carbonyl carbon bonded to an R group and another atom or group. Examples include acyl radicals, acylium ions, and acyl anions.
