B-lymphocyte chemokine
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001399
A signaling protein that attracts B lymphocytes to specific locations within lymphoid tissues. These chemokines bind to G protein-coupled receptors on the B-cell surface, guiding their migration through a chemotactic gradient. CXCL13, also known as B-lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), is a primary chemokine for B cells in lymph nodes and the spleen.
