Biel water maze

A water labyrinth described by Biel in 1940, in which a rodent is made to swim through the maze until it reaches a small submerged platform that lets it escape. It is used to look for neurotoxicant damage to spatial learning and memory. The Cincinnati water maze is a related apparatus.
