Burr hole surgery

A neurosurgical procedure involving the drilling of a small hole through the skull bone. This opening provides access to the brain or the space between the skull and the brain's protective membranes. It is often performed to relieve intracranial pressure, drain fluid collections like hematomas, or obtain tissue biopsies.
