Calibration, k0 method

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001579

A method of calibration in neutron activation analysis that uses a set of experimentally determined nuclear data parameters, known as k0 factors, to quantify elemental concentrations without requiring individual standards for each element. This approach relies on the accurate measurement of neutron flux density and detector efficiency. It offers a standardized and versatile way to perform quantitative analysis.
