CD3
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001765
A complex of transmembrane proteins that associates with the T-cell receptor (TCR) on the surface of T lymphocytes. The CD3 complex is involved in signal transduction, transmitting activation signals from the TCR into the cell upon antigen recognition. It consists of several invariant chains, including gamma, delta, epsilon, and zeta.
