Dichroic mirror
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003150
An optical filter that selectively reflects certain wavelengths of light while transmitting others. This behavior is achieved through multiple thin layers of dielectric materials, which create interference effects. Dichroic mirrors are widely used in fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy to separate excitation and emission light paths.
