Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004369
The process of returning a fraction of the output of a system or process to the input, often for control or regulation. In analytical chemistry, this mechanism is used to maintain a desired state or to correct deviations from a set point in automated instruments. An example is a thermostat controlling a heating element based on temperature measurements.
