Immunophenotyping

A laboratory technique used to identify and characterize cells based on the expression of specific proteins on their surface or within their cytoplasm. This is typically achieved using fluorescently labeled antibodies that bind to these cell-surface markers, followed by analysis using flow cytometry. It is frequently employed in diagnosing leukemias and lymphomas.
