Immunotherapy

A type of medical treatment that harnesses or manipulates the body's own immune system to fight diseases, particularly cancer and autoimmune disorders. This can involve stimulating the immune response to target diseased cells or suppressing it to prevent unwanted reactions. Examples include checkpoint inhibitors and CAR T-cell therapy.
