Mass-distribution function
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007007
A mathematical function that describes the distribution of mass with respect to a specific variable, such as molar mass or particle size, within a sample. It indicates the relative amount of material present at each value of the variable. The integral of this function over all possible values equals the total mass.
