Molecular template
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007525
A molecule that directs the formation of another molecule or a supramolecular assembly by providing a specific binding site or structural framework. The template guides the arrangement of monomers or other components into a desired structure. This concept is central to molecular imprinting and self-assembly processes.
