Polyanilines
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009103
A class of conductive polymers derived from aniline monomers, characterized by repeating units containing both oxidized and reduced forms of nitrogen. These polymers can exist in different oxidation states, such as leucoemeraldine, emeraldine, and pernigraniline, each exhibiting distinct electrical properties. Their conductivity can be tuned through proton doping or redox reactions, reaching values up to 100 S/cm.
