Polymer catalyst
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013415
A polymeric material that functions as a catalyst, either by having catalytic sites incorporated into its structure or by acting as a support for catalytic species. These catalysts offer advantages such as ease of separation from reaction mixtures and recyclability, which are beneficial in industrial processes. They are employed in a range of organic transformations, including esterifications and oxidations.
