  "definition": "The proportionality factor between the rate of a catalysed reaction and the concentration of a particular catalyst, when the rate law has a term first order in that catalyst. It is a rate coefficient, with units that depend on the order of the reaction, and it is found from the slope of the observed rate constant plotted against catalyst concentration. In general acid catalysis, the catalytic coefficients of different acids are the quantities related by the Brønsted relation.",
