Polymer membrane
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009179
A thin, selective barrier made from polymeric material that controls the passage of substances between two phases. These membranes can be dense or porous, and their separation capabilities depend on the polymer's chemical structure and morphology. They are widely used in filtration, gas separation, and desalination processes.
