Pseudoallergy

A reaction that clinically resembles an allergic reaction but does not involve an immunological mechanism, such as IgE antibodies. These reactions are often caused by direct mast cell degranulation or activation of other inflammatory pathways. Common triggers include certain drugs, food additives, and physical stimuli.
