Pull-down assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009664
A biochemical technique used to isolate and identify proteins that interact with a specific bait protein or other molecule, such as DNA or RNA. The bait molecule is immobilized on a solid support, and cellular lysates are passed over it, allowing interacting partners to bind. The bound complexes are then eluted and analyzed, often by gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.
