Quasi-enantiomers
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009771
Pairs of molecules that are structurally very similar and behave as enantiomers in certain contexts, but are not true enantiomers due to minor structural differences. They are often used in studies of chiral recognition and resolution. For example, two compounds that differ only by isotopic substitution might be considered quasi-enantiomers.
