Stereorepeating unit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011383
A repeating unit within a polymer chain that possesses a specific stereochemical configuration. This unit is the smallest part of the polymer whose repetition creates the overall stereoregularity of the macromolecule. Its arrangement dictates the tactic nature of the polymer, such as isotactic or syndiotactic.
