Sterilization

A process that eliminates or deactivates all forms of microbial life, including bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores, from a surface, object, or biological fluid. This can be achieved through physical methods like heat, radiation, or filtration, or by chemical means using sterilants. In a medical context, it renders an individual incapable of reproduction.
