Characteristic potential
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012966
A specific potential value observed in an electrochemical experiment that is indicative of a particular redox process or species. This potential is often associated with a peak or inflection point in a voltammogram. It provides qualitative information about the electroactive species present in a solution.
